Every church needs a website no matter how big or small they are. We believe that before you can welcome people into your community, your front door is no longer the ones your greeters are stationed on Sunday morning... it's your website. Building a website with good design shows people that you are intentional about how you are making your first impression. If we as the church are called to display love and reach others, our online reputation matters as well.
I arrived in Kenansville, North Carolina on a late Saturday afternoon. It was quiet but as soon as Aaron walked out of his office, he greeted me with that warm southern smile. It was good to be reunited with an old friend…
I asked Aaron if he could share in the video shoot “What would you say to someone looking for a church in this area"?”, I was so encouraged to hear how motivated he was to reach his community. I never stopped recording and between answering my questions, he recalled to me how we began working together. On his first day as Pastor, a new website was on his list of things to accomplish ASAP. He called me to figure out how much it would cost so that he could present it to his committee. “We have a committee for everything”, he jokes.
With the trust of his committee, I drove 5 hours to meet him in Kenansville to really get to know the church, capture on video what the church is like and for people to see and hear the pastor’s heart for the Church. This is our story.
